What can midwives do?
A midwife can provide primary care for women and comprehensive care for any pregnant individual. We offer primary care, prenatal care, post-partum and newborn care, and infant feeding support) with an individualized, relationship-based approach.
CAN I AFFORD A MIDWIFE?
Most of our clients find that the entire price of their midwife care (including birth) costs less than their insurance deductible.
DO YOU BILL INSURANCE?
We are proud to say YES, we do accept insurance! We are grateful to be building out our list of in-network partners in order to provide more options for families across Central Iowa.
What does midwife mean?
The term midwife comes from a combination of the Old English mid “with” + wif “woman” originally meaning “with woman.” We expand that definition by partnering with all we are qualified to serve (and their families) to be with YOU throughout your journey. We invite you to experience what it means for us to be truly with you every step of the way.
